Ashley W. Kernan, MD

Dr. Ashley Kernan is a dedicated family medicine provider at Intermountain Health with a focus on Women's Health, Family Planning, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, LGBTQ+ care, and Preventive Health. Her comprehensive care includes performing Pap smears, colposcopies, contraception management (including IUDs and Nexplanon), obstetric care, skin biopsies, and laceration repairs. Dr. Kernan also treats chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and mental health issues. Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Kernan fell in love with the mountains and has made the West her home. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, skiing, rock climbing, trail running, and camping with her husband and two daughters.
